Scary stuff

The weather has played havoc with our friends and family over that last week. With hurricanes in Florida, and floods in Ohio, New York, and Victorville, CA, (not too far from us in LA), we're wondering when it's going to end. Everyone we've talked to has made it through okay though and for that we're thankful.

The weather isn't the only thing scary thing these days. A good friend of ours, Thomas Clarkson, just found out he has advanced prostate cancer. It shocked us. He's fit, health-conscious, and a vegetarian. But cancer can be harshly indiscriminate. So Thomas is working closely with the doctors to map out a treatment plan. (If any of you have any suggestions, let me know and I'll pass them on). He's going to fight this with everything he can. He said he still has a lot of preaching to do. Way to be Thomas, way to be. :)
