From a Statistic's Perspective
I got laid off two weeks ago today. As hard as I try to spin the positive, it is easy to pull out the pity party streamers. I see unemployment statistics and think, “Gee, that’s me.”
But I’m feeling better. I have the perspective to re-prioritize, which I’ve needed for a long time. As a bonus, I also have another new perspective. Here’s the view from my office window:
